Application Procedure
Who can apply?
Yearly exchange of 2 students between Lisbon and Utrecht.
From Utrecht to Lisbon:
Students in the 2nd year of the Masters in Neuroscience and Cognition at the Univeristy of Utrecht who are interested in performing research in the selected topic.
From Lisbon to Utrecht:
Students in the 2nd year of the Masters in Biomedical Engineering at the Instituto Superior Técnico who are interested in performing research in the selected topic.
From Utrecht to Lisbon:
Students in the 2nd year of the Masters in Neuroscience and Cognition at the Univeristy of Utrecht who are interested in performing research in the selected topic.
From Lisbon to Utrecht:
Students in the 2nd year of the Masters in Biomedical Engineering at the Instituto Superior Técnico who are interested in performing research in the selected topic.
How to apply?
Students must submit
The selection committee will select two students (one for Utrecht and one for Lisbon) based on academic performance and motivation.
- Letter of motivation (please indicate the research topic, and the sending and receiving institutions),
- Transcript of records (BSc and MSc) ,
- CV,

When to apply?
Applications currently open.
Assessment
The project will be supervised by faculty researchers at the receiving institution and at the home institution. The research output generated by the student will be presented during the Annual Meeting of Biomedical Engineering in Lisbon. The supervisor(s) and examiners will attend the defense in person or online.
